On Saturday, July 9th, 14 Frets and RG Brewery (backed up by some really awesome sponsors!) hosted a fundraiser to purchase protective equipment for K9 dogs.  We are SO happy to report that the event was IMMENSELY successful beyond our wildest dreams. Thank you so much to everyone who donated, participated in raffles, sponsored, and helped out. It's all thanks to you.

And now, the grand total y'all have been waiting for!

THE GRAND TOTAL: $5532 (Better than we could have hoped! Thank you so much everyone!!)

$ 2,600 is going to Vested Interest in K9s for the purchase of ballistics vests for dogs.
Of that money, $960 will be for Max's protective vest. $960 also goes to a vest for a dog named Furi in South Carolina. (see below)

UPDATE 10/29 :  K9 Furi of Florence County has received a vest through Vested Interest in K9s due to our funds! Here's his bio :)

K9 Furi is a 2-year-old Dutch Shepherd, certified in patrol duties, tracking & narcotics detection is assigned to Cpl. Jt Follin of the Florence County Sheriff’s Office (Violent Street Crimes Task Force), SC.  Furi likes going for evening walks, playing with his toy, and working with his dad.  He has a strong dislike for water hoses and blow dryers.

It's amazing that we are able to provide for dogs in need across the entire country!
